Dalene Rathnum
“Our wounds are often the openings into the best and most beautiful part of us” – David Richo. This is one of my favoured quotes because it is a reminder that pain and suffering are real but so is the potential for healing and self-discovery. Emotional pain can be intense and can have a detrimental impact on your mental wellbeing, physical well-being, relationships and many other areas of your life. It most profoundly impacts your relationship with yourself.
I have a deep respect for one’s history and context as well as the courage shown in seeking therapy to both accept and overcome these . I believe in creating a supportive, accepting, safe space to promote collaboration and to increase awareness and skills in order to achieve a life worth living. I adopt a flexible working model based on the needs of the client. I look forward to being part of your journey of increased awareness, healing and development.
